Making Your Rehearsal Fun

The wedding rehearsal is generally thought of as a nice, quiet get together with your family after preparing for the ceremony. The main idea of the rehearsal dinner is to relax with your family, friends, and wedding party before the big day. Most people chose to go to an elegant restaurant or have a catered dinner at their home. These traditional ideas are great if you want something elegant and have the money to spend, but there are many ways you can make your rehearsal fun while saving money as well. It doesn't matter if you are a chapter 7 bankruptcy attorney, California lifeguard, or an elementary school teacher - There is a fun wedding rehearsal idea that is out there for you.

If you sell aquarium supplies for a living and would like to plan your rehearsal on a budget, there are a lot of options out there to consider. The rehearsal itself is usually held at the church or location of the wedding, but you could save money by holding the rehearsal at your home or even outside. As long as you have everyone present, it's easy to hold a mock ceremony. This can also make the rehearsal fun if you serve beverages and finger foods. Another good idea is to play some music or provide games for any children present. As long as everyone participating in the wedding is introduced and knows their place for the big day, there is no need to have a long, drawn out rehearsal at the location. If you are the organized type, then maybe you can verbally plan the rehearsal with your guests a few weeks before the big day, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the day before the wedding, rather than spending so much time rehearsing.

The rehearsal dinner is the best opportunity to have some fun before the big day. You can have a redneck themed barbeque outside, a luau on the beach, or a disco dance party! You can also have a heritage themed rehearsal dinner. If you are Italian, then maybe you want to serve an Italian feast. Or perhaps you are Irish, in which case green attire and kegs of beer may be in order. If you want to be trade mark Canadian, you could hold your rehearsal dinner at a local pub, and snack on nachos and wings while watching a women's hockey tournament.

It's also a good idea to consider activities for the evening as well. Maybe instead of having dinner at a restaurant or at your home, you could plan a night at the bowling alley. The adults can enjoy a glass of wine while the kids can have hotdogs and soda while bowling! It doesn't take a sheave manufacturer to know that this is a great idea for everyone. Maybe during the dinner you want to give gifts to those helping you with the wedding. It might be a fun idea to incorporate them into a game, like prizes.

It doesn't matter what direction you chose to take when planning your wedding rehearsal. There are many different options out there to make it fun without compromising the importance of the day. Just remember to relax and have fun with the people you care about!
